Yeah, lemmy blew me away... he was scary as.... eyeballed me at the St James throughout the gig there.... had that look that said "I am going to come up there and fuck you up after the show"... lucky I didnt have backstage passes, they would have been wasted for sure

Bowie's music reminds me different parts of my life
Alladin Sane album and Pin Ups of when I was very small. I still love these albums. Ziggy Stardust, although it was earlier, we must have got a bit later. That one popped up again at varsity when two of my mates were in a band and we'd jam.
Sound and Vision... on the radio, sleeping on the floor at my big sisters flat. I was probably about 6 or 7.
Ashes to Ashes was when life got a bit weird, death and troubles in our family
Then I got a "Best Of" album, and I connect this to reading Victoria Adams Flowers in the Attic books
Let's Dance was my best friends Christmas prezzies on high rotation at her house. I loved "China Girl" and the video.
From there on nothing much caught my attention. I still love the old stuff. The bass on Sound and Vision is sublime. Still bust out a few on my guitar from time to time, for fun.
