Whats so bad with a little Ego or Arrogance , these things are the fuel that fires the Alpha's drive. Unlike a Beta who is usually a SIMP. Ego as a strong sense of self identity is good. Anyone can have that, alpha, beta, male, female. Ego as in placing oneself above all others is not so good. Arrogance is never good. It indicates ignorance, intolerance, and usually is a cover for someone who's not very sure of themself at all. Perhaps you mean "assertiveness" or "confidence" is a positive and a motivator? What I was asking was do you mean actual alphas, competent, strong leaders, or the more usual deltas-who-think-they're-alphas? In case you don't want to look that up, they're basically Barney Stinson (from HIMYM). Everything is about appearing to have it all under control. It doesn't matter what reality is, as long as they think they're winning - even when no-one else is playing or caring. It's a bit of an immature masculinity, I think. Everything hinges on how they think others see them. |
