Jonah Lomu's wife and young sons led hundreds of mourners who gathered at the Vodafone Events Centre in south Auckland today to celebrate his life.
The Aho Faka Famili – Day of the Family – was the opportunity for Auckland's Pasifika communities to pay their respects along with several All Blacks greats.
Fans, friends and family turned out – former teammates Tana Umaga, Eric Rush and Michael Jones among them.
The Governer-General, who admitted to asking his barber for a Jonah haircut, also paid his respects.
