an earthquake in
Pakistan
people killed
very sad
but after watching the footage
i am left wondering
if Pakistan spent on its
infrastructure
what its spends on nuclear weapons
less of its citizens
would die
i saw unreinforced buildings
shoddy barely standing houses
that would fall over in a
high wind
let alone a small earthquake
12 girls were killed
in a school
a fucking school
it defies everything we have learned
about building safety
im at the point where i would rather not hear about
or see
what happens to these people
they get the outcomes they deserve
