Did you take part in today's nationwide earthquake shake out drill?
I never bothered as we have a good shake the other day.

Yes I did and the dogs and the hubby (works from home on a Thursday) - we ran into the walk-in-wardrobe Probably would not be able to do that in a real earthquake but we don't have anything to climb under apart from the kitchen table which is right next to large glass windows. The wardrobe has not got any glass hence why we thought that might be a good option. Must check our building plans to find out where the main beams are as they are the strongest part of the house. Door jams aren't as strong in modern house due to the construction.

I'm to fat to fit under any table. I drop on a regular basis through out the day so I was not going to do it for the sake of it.

had no idea such a thing existed.... if there is an earthquake... I expect to either survive or die.... much the same as those that practiced today, and are now prepared, I suppose
