Wellington Police is evacuating Victoria University campus after a note threatening the detonation of a bomb in the Murphy Building was discovered. Police take these threats very seriously and for safety have evacuated the campus while a thorough search of the area is undertaken. The Wellington District Crime Squad is leading the criminal investigation. The public is asked to avoid Kelburn Parade for the next few hours while Police conduct their search. An update will be provided as soon as more information is available.
