Our  Maz will get it worse than our side. They often bleat on about the wind on Rimutaka's so we got up for a look & hardly a breeze. |

We don't get this sort of wind all the time, may be a couple of times a season ... last time I remembered a really strong wind was last spring when the wind tried to lift our cheap aluminum shed and it was hit and miss whether it would take off before we could strap and stake it. It was a bit scary and now that shed is bolted to the fence.

Rain has been steady here for about an hour now. Wind isn't too bad though. Drizzly rain on & off with a gentle puff nothing to what we were told we surprised to have got. |

Thats the one when my mates sheds roof took off down the road in Kilbirnie .. there was a scramble to get the contents of the shed hidden from view from the air He has since given up that enterprise.... made him nervous |
