Waikato Hospital is trying to track down 25 patients who were seen by a man employed as a psychiatrist for six months but who is now accused of identity fraud.
The man appeared in Hamilton District Court yesterday charged with fraud after the hospital became suspicious of his ability and qualifications and it called in police.

Wanganui had the same thing happen about ten years ago... completely fraudulent qualifications...
Dr Murray said the hospital had carried out a number of checks before it employed the man, but they failed to pick him up.
"This raises concerns about the potential for fraudulent activity and those matters are before the court," he said.
