As of this week, all new Euros are to be printed on Greece-proof paper.
Syria has appealed for international assistance today, after a boatload of 500 Greeks arrived seeking a better life.
What are the first three letters of the Greek alphabet?
I.O.U.
I'm investing in a new currency...the George Foreman Euro. Same as the other Euro, but no Greece.
Alex Tsipras has said that Greece will "Bounce Back". Just like it's cheques.
My son wanted to know what it was like to live in Greece, so I took his pocket money off him.

An amazing country Nat. I loved it there and the people are such nice relaxed people. I blame a lot of it on the bastards at the top having deep pockets that were always being lined.
Hope it comes right for them but not sure how that will be achieved

the greeks are guilty of shitting in their own nests dodging taxes is a greek pastime their political system is so convoluted with multiple small party players that little or nothing gets done
they are so busy being 'democratic' getting everyones opinion and voting on this and that that they have become wishy washy in their leadership no one taking the blame for anything because they all voted it no blame equals no consequence for incompetence equals incompetence flourishing unchecked
this is where greece finds itself today and its no one elses fault but their own
if they have to live like 3rd world citizens for a while it might wake them up to the fact that you dont get nothing for nothing

I found their food to be ok, but nothing to equal the Italians who have super super nice food.
Greece was very very run down when we were there. No money hence no one doing anything. Streets not cleaned of rubbish and their wonderful tourist sites littered to the max. No one getting paid so no one does it. They seem to not have a realization of what beauty they actually have there and as said no one seems to take responsibility or pride in their own patch like we do here in NZ. Too many top men dipping into the coffers which has made the little guys guard their money and avoid taxes.
I loved Greece and the people are wonderful, I would go back in a heart beat.

they were still getting paid when i was there and there was shit everywhere
the bus driver tore my ticket in half gave half back to me and threw the remainder out the window
ramshackle is the word that springs to mind almost every house has a bunch of building supplies stacked around it but no visible building going on
