AC/DC rocker Phil Rudd has been arrested again, only a week after being sentenced to eight months' home detention.
The 61-year-old drummer was taken into custody from his Tauranga home last night and is set to appear in court again tomorrow, lawyer Craig Tuck confirmed to 3 News today.
Media have reported that prostitutes were at Rudd's home when he was arrested last night, but Mr Tuck wouldn't make any further comments.
Rudd was convicted last week on charges of drug possession, and threatening to kill an employee.
Rudd has filed an appeal against the sentence.
Rudd's being electronically monitored at his Tauranga waterside mansion and must also complete a rehabilitation programme.
As part of his home detention conditions, he was prohibited him from taking any drugs not prescribed to him and was warned by the judge any breach of conditions and he would be sentenced to time in prison.
