california has banned the plastic shopping bag it sounds in theory like an awesome idea all those hard to recycle bags we see blowing everywhere are a constant reminder of what we are doing to the planet
so you get yourself a couple of those ecobags or a fucken slave produced 100% synthetic polybag and woohoo eco warrior
did you know you use more in emissions backing your car out of the drive? did you know there is enough packaging inside the bag to make 50 bags? but we dont have to worry about that just those fucking bags blowing everywhere and we fixed that problem right?

If they charged like 20 cents per bag, people would buy the least bags they could get by with I reckon. As a consumer, I probably wouldn't take my bags back to the supermarket to be recycled. Complacency lol
I tell you something I did see a few years back. I stayed at Starship hospital. They used disposable cutlery and plates with every meal and they were just tossed out into the bin. That is just one hospital. Add to that many more hospitals and you have a footprint disaster. I pity this poor world in years to come. Whether those that like to the debate global warming catastrophe or not. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the impact humans are having on the environment.
