Yes but My adopted Dad who was a radar technician in WW2 and went into France Belgium and Germany in wartime never spoke of the war or His medals which hung under a photo of himself taken when he was a teen wearing a kilt. All very strange and Anzac day just brings back those memories for me and it makes me wonder if he was a real bad bugger and that's why when it was all over he gets a government job with all the trimmings hmmmmmm.... lest we forget...

He really had it in for Aussies and I reckon it was some shit that went down in wartime. My mum bought one home once and he knocked him out. When he was dying of cancer I informed him that I had found my father and he was an Australian and he had to try and stop laughing as it hurt too much! He said "I always knew there was something wrong with you". Lest we forget lol...

Can you believe I forgot it was ANZAC day. Had the kids so I blame them. I worked with a man who fought in WW2. Later found out he was a sniper. I asked him if he shot anyone which was a dumb thing to ask really but I was still a teen and undiplomatic lol. He said well I pointed and shot and see people drop. I bought him a sausage roll that afternoon lol. An older Scotsmen.
