I don't care, the worst is over so we can relax now and just catch colds again.

Hardly anyone scanning in where I have been lately. I can't wait to see the back of Masks as well. They annoy the hell out of me.

I'll tell you what's bullshit is that I was forced to leave my job of 4 yrs because I wouldn't allow them to jab me. I asked for a risk assessment as no one was around when I got there to clean which should have been considered. It wasn't. No thank you.
No goodbye. Just my last pay accredited to my account. So I was glad to finally be contacted and told theyd been through two cleaners since I left and I was offered the job back withought being jabbed and I politely said no. I coukd have said a lot more.
I did myself a solid. Not having to go out in the evenings to clean has revolutionised my life. Its the best payday I could ever imagine as I have time to tend to whats really important now. Plus when I worked I spent money on unnecessary fluff. I'm now finding ways to utilize what Is available and its really quite exciting and more rewarding.

I have the right to remain silent concerning covid but well done you Andri in every negative there is a positive so my old adopted dad would say but I have found that hard to apply when it comes to some women lol

The funniest thing happened after losing my job. I began to look for ways get my financial footprint down. It was staring right at me after looking through my bank statements.
When you turn out in the evenings to work, you feel like youre on standby and rushed all day. I'd cook the quickest meals i could or buy takeaways with no thought or love in the proccess. I was buying unneeded guff that remaind in my cupboards mostly unused.y wages were disposable income and dispose, I would lol
Now I have time to shop smartly and cook lovely healthy meals. I now have the time to communicate properly with my darlings. And blow me over if not working has been the best investment both financially and family wise.
I have this tool called time now. The impact has been great. If someone would have told me that the biggest investment you could invest in, was time, I wouldn't have got it. I do now. Granted that I wasnt the main earner but its been to me, revolutionary. I also had the time to realise that my bosses were only following what the govt were requiring of them and they were compromised to allow exemptions until the rules changed.
So when they offered my job back, I was too far gone in the excitement of saving money and finding ways to utilise what we do have through the gift of father time and the benefits he brings. Amen.

Yes sadly working can destroy people and add that with debt and worry topped off with bad diets of processed or fast foods you can see why oldies give up and go to sleep permanently. It's easier.

Thats awesome Andri. Time is not what we have a lot of left now so, that's great you have been given the opportunity to enjoy it more. Money is not on the top of the list for me - never has been really but I am enjoying not working too.

So totally with you Andri as I was a shift worker for many years then when I made better choices I had more of Grand Father time to enjoy life.

I did a nine day road trip around the south island Feb/March while I was on three weeks off. Takaka was fab, they didn't give a shit about masking up. Come back to Gore and covid had gone through, I still haven't had it..
But by gawd since the start of the first lock down, work is so busy. Middle child hasn't been able to come home for her hols so im off over to Brisbane for a couple weeks next year now.
Bloody over the mask wearing at work, we still get people coming in with no masks while they're coughing and sneezing so what's the point.
If you're going to get it, you're going to get it.
Was heartbreaking watching some of my co-workers that I've worked with for 11 years have to leave because of the no jab no job policy. They felt so segregated.
I don't care if anyone is jabbed or not, everyone's personal choice. It's just farked that some feel divided over it

Lol no.... That was the end result of people arguing in our street. Neighbours heard the fighting, we all heard a big bang but didn't realise what it was until the next morning. New boot gets put in next week. She's going to look flash again.
