Whats with all these drownings this Summer? We have had 4 in our River alone in less than a week. If you can't swim - don't get in. Simple really. I'm not a strong swimmer so avoid the surf and will only get into a river if I can clearly see the bottom.

Drownings are just part of life I guess unless we get rid of water then they are here to stay. Yeah but we have never had so many. Is it partly because a lot of schools don't have their own pool anymore? Or is it too expensive for kids to have swimming lessons?
