What people on both sides have missed, is that each case of self defence is determined by the PERSONAL beliefs of the accused, act the very point they act, The juries verdict may or may not have been the right one, but they were not there to determine if he was a good guy, or a bad guy. They were not there to determine if he was doing the right or wrong thing by being there. They were not there to determine if actions he took, led to him being confronted by others. They were only there to determine if, in the seconds before firing his gun, he personally feared for his life,

I have not watched the case, to be honest I just avoid anything to do with guns as I got sick and tired of hearing about them. Seems like every second gangstar crim in this country has them now. Ridiculous! and gutless must be easy to just shoot people!

Ridiculous! and gutless must be easy to just shoot people! Yep, everyone's a hard man until they meet one. In the attempted home invasion here by two carloads of gang members, the guy with the gun was too scared to get out of the car, after the homicidal dad with a bat had already dropped one, and told the rest to get back their cars and fuck off or die in the street.  |

Yes most of them are carrying guns because they are scared and then most of them are too scared to use one past "Im gonna kill you". We had a wee incident here a while back where gangstars visited and were told to leave and the idiot died. The "Im not scared to use a gun" guy got bail after a few months too. Be interesting to see the outcome. |
