ive done a fair amount of practice
on my field sobriety work
the american cops will use before they breathalyze you
so its a handy skill to have
walk in a straight line
with arms perpendicular
to the body
then backwards
stand on one leg
eyes closed
and touch your nose
with your left hand

i went to a
grateful dead concert
at the shoreline amphitheatre
in mountainview
me and michael jackson
(not that chalky little dancy chap
the real michael jackson)
dropped some acid that we got of a hippy
outside the gates
jackson tripped hard
and was approached by the police
who thought he was intoxicated
the did field sobriety tests
which jackson passed
he actually hopped from one foot
to another
touching his nose with alternate hands
they wrote him off as a whack job
and went about their business
later that night jackson
attacked the television with a rolling pin
because it was mocking him
smashed it to smithereens

A bit OT but I was once stopped by a cop and had to
produce my licence. I take my licence out of
the side compartment of the car and produce it
for viewing.
The cop says very good and nods for me to move
along.
I take the licence from his hand and look at it.
It was Daves licence and he had a beard.
I moved along.

The cop was getting into a wright wee dance routine there. That guy was pretty amazing to do the alphabet backwards. I couldnt do it sober. |
