A former United States high school English teacher who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing three male students said she was vulnerable and made mistakes, but a judge scolded her for committing serious crimes and sentenced her to up to 30 years in prison.
Prosecutors said one of the boys was 16 and two were 17 when Brianne Altice had sex with them.
Altice, 36, was initially free while her case played out, but was sent to jail in January after allegations emerged that she continued a sexual relationship with one of the boys while she was out on bail.

Now I understand that she committed a crime as the justice system there calls it,,,, but seriously.... 30 years
A crime as I see it, is when somebody does something to someone else that causes harm... or does something that has the potential to cause harm to cause harm to others...
A 16 or 17 year old boy, most probably on the balance of probabilities, is not going to be harmed by having sex with someone they find attractive, and want to have sex with..... I was a sixteen year old boy, and I would probably at 16 been quite happy to engage in intercourse with this woman.
