Friends and fans of amateur stuntman and comedian Johnny 'Danger' Bennett have reacted with shock and grief to reports he died in a motorbike crash on Wednesday afternoon.
It's understood he had been part of an Anzac Day ride in north Auckland, friends said, with a large group of fellow motorcyclists before crashing on Dairy Flat Highway.
His friend Jackson O'Doherty, who had spoken to Bennett earlier that day, posted on Facebook that the stuntman had "made the world a better place"

There was a group of about 50 of them I read so I reckon he had no idea how to ride in a bunch. Sad for him and family but you are right TL, he would never had made the grade as a stunt man
