Really? I heard it so many times over the years from some many different people, I thought there must be some truth to it. So when my brother was going out with a girl who worked at Auckland Hospital (this was over 25yrs ago) who typed up all the A & E admissions, I jumped at the chance to find out and she confirmed it to be true. She had not typed up the report herself but had heard it being talked about from time to time. He was in fact admitted to hospital with a marmite jar jammed up his arse! Some of the foreign objects some people had been admitted to hospital with jammed up there was far worse than a marmite jar. How's a lightbulb for instance?  |
