Thinking of a present to get the families first great mokopuna. I saw a pounamu greenstone on trademe for a baby. I will get that i think.
It's matte finish with beautiful lashing. It's only $10 and $1 postage. Unbelievable price for the quality.

My Mum encouraged us not to be tapu or too tapu. She believed it was up to the person if they wanted to bless a greenstone. If not that is up to them. A trail blazer she was. I only realize now she put a lot on the line and came under a lot of judgement on the marae for not adhering to strict protocol. Bless her. I will get our eldest brother to bless it out of respect to those who beleive. |

I scored some Crab Apples at a job yesterday so am currently allowing them to strain through some cloth. That is after boiling them in a pot this morning. The boil up will be tomorrow.  |

Yep. I was a bit pissed really as most of the fruit was really damaged and past it but I managed to get enough to end up with a couple of pots. |

I spring cleaned. Fridge done, stove done. Bathroom and toilet. Yay,
Got dinner in the crockpot. Neck chops amd vege stew.

I did a potroast the other day, on the bottom I place a kilo of sliced up pork belly, then mutton chops, chicken, potatoes, carrots, kumara and pumpkin.... was fabulous...except the pork belly rendered down and deep fried the chops.....  |
