This is the final week for the Countdown Kids Annual Hospital Appeal, we have hit just over one million dollars nationwide so far!!!!
This is amazing!!
Can we get to 1.1 million??
There's still time to pop down to your nearest Countdown store and donate at the checkouts ALL proceeds go toward the continual updating of our Kids wards medical equipment in 11 hospitals.....
For us Gore locals, Invercargill is one of these hospitals, every little bit helps, we still haven't hit our hopeful target, but if we do, the lovely Lyndon from Minds Eye Design Tattoo in Invercargill is donating his time to tattoo our green Countdown logo on the leg of one of our non tattoo'd staff members ...
So please, get those donations in!
And keep an ear out on Cavefm in a week or so for our Gore store total....

Sad that money for kids has to come from donations yet there is a 1.6 billion surplus and they want to build prisons. No wonder the state houses are all boarded up and there is homeless every where. its a joke I wont vote for any of them. Well said. |

cool as btw Maby baby and I think the count down tatoo thats posh for tattoo is a great idea  She had a wee bit of a ribbing (all in fun) at work about getting the tattoo...But as she said, when shes elderly, It can be one of those fun old stories she can tell her grandkids or great grandkids that she got the tattoo to help support a great cause... I offered but she said nope. She has always wanted to get one but was a little scared, this way, she will go through with it because its for something good.... She one of the good ones |

You guys would be classed as a small store, so not sure why you guys haven't been upgraded yet...Just ask the Store Manager
