Got my first one last year when I turned 40, have been back two more times, and have some more in mind to get and one I have already got am going to get coloured....
Ive always heard people saying that once you get one, you get the 'bug' and will end up addicted and want more, I thought, bulldust, it would hurt so why the heck would people get addicted to that??
Holy moly I was wrong....I cannot wait to get more, the sooner the better....
Anyone else in here have any?

My first was a stupid cross on the side of my eye just above the cheek bone, age 14. Parents were seething. I got that removed at 16. Second was a flower that my brother did. Nearly got a hiding for that when dad found out. I still have that. It looks like a Samoan tapa cloth tribal type flower. One above my ankle, got most of that removed. They cut it out and left a bloody mess. So I never went back to get the other half done. All in all a bit of a disastrous tattooing experience lol
I allowed my kids to get there's done as long as they went professional and the tattoo artists did excellent jobs on them. None of this pen ink and needle jobbies their mother had done lol
Daves only tattoo is sexy.

Yeah, I let miss 19 get her first at 17...She had wanted one at 16, so I took her in to speak to our local tattooist, he was awesome, explained the whole process to her but also told her that he wasn't going to tattoo her at 16 as he didn't want teenagers in school uniforms going around with his tattoo's on them....Which is fair enough... But then said to come back when she turned 17, and if she still wanted it done and with my written permission, he would do it as long as it was somewhere that could be covered.... So....Come 17, she got 3 little birds on the back of her shoulder....She now has those 'built on to' and made into a bigger pic, has another tattoo on her thigh and one on her inner arm, all professional.... She of course wants more too....
