I enjoyed the doco felt deflated at the end as if there
should be a part 2

The credits at end said draw your own conclusions

I followed the case over the years. The doco had the new development of the 911 call dispatcher, saying it was most unusual for a person who has phoned in with such a grave desperate situation to just hang up.

She said patsy didn't realize she could still hear the conversation between patsy and a male voice (as patsy thought she had hung up the phone but didn't realize she hadn't) and she said the tone changed and she felt this was most unusual if not rather dodgy behavior by Patsy.

Other developments were the murder weapon, possibly a torch. The staged garotting (sp). The un-usually long ransom letter which took the detectives, 21 minutes to write after timing themselves writing it as quickly as they could, word for word.

The father finding the body and even before switching the light on, saying to his friend, "here she is" even though he couldn't possibly have seen anything in the dark room without having first switched the light on,which he hadn't.

I think they could have possibly been covering for their son? I heat Burke is now suing the producers of that documentary. I saw the interview with doctor Phil. Burke (to me) seems somewhat weird. But who am I to judge, I come from a line of weirdos lol

I didn't watch it all last night but how the hell could a 9 yr old keep up that sort of pretense for years and years? If he had done it, he would have tripped himself at some stage.
