Can- anyone explain this Many of the open homes we visited with families living in them they did not have dinning tables is this a TREND of 20000's or don't familes dine together these days 's

We have a dining table and chairs, but because all of us are really only home altogether once a week for a meal, the table and chairs don't seem to get used very often and quite often its a quick easy meal on the go because of odd hours for work.

Have not noticed - all of them I have been to have had a dining table.
Although we mainly eat our food on our laps watching the news.

We hardly use our dining table now. We sit in the lounge watching TV with our coffee tables.
