Is how admin need to behave
LIKE THEY ARE GOD!!!!!!!
But not the imaginary, needy, psychopathic, homophobic, misogynistic, seafood hating, genocidal, two thread despising, crazy ones the religious believe in.
THE ONE THEY THINK THEY BELEIVE IN!!!!!!!!
Admin need to stick to the code, or message boards fail.
1) You cannot take sides.
Any issue that arises, should be able to be resolved by discussion,
so discuss the particular issue,
leave all personal feelings about the member at the door,
collect it when you leave the area of discussion.
2) be nice
They insult you, take it on the chin, they are upset, let them rant until such time as you can see its making them worse, otherwise, let them get their feelings out, then you can know, what you can do to improve things for them.
3) accept all, everybody doesn't like you, you must accept that you wont like some of them. Keep personal feelings out, a be as inviting and inclusive as you can.
4) Privacy is key.
Don't shame people for stepping out of the areas of acceptable behaviour, do it in private messages
5) Be aware of your position
Personal feelings, ridicule of opinions, etc, are all fun and necessary. And there is no point to a place like this except to be able to call a cunt a cunt.
Don't step over the lines of acceptable "nice" behaviour, in the areas you are moderating, Remember, you are GOD in there
6) Admin should all be made aware of any instance that has brought us to the point we are not going to be nice, and the person may have to leave, so we can discuss what actions need to be taken, Banning members should be the last resort.
Oh and 7)
All rules are fluid when it comes to BoB, that guy has serious issues
