So my sister and I have decided to go and check out the swimming complexes here and choose one to exercise in! We both need to get off our backsides so decided swimming would be a good low impact thing for me. We may sign up for Aqua Aerobics later. Why did I post this in humour? Cos I reckon it will be an absolute hoot seeing the 2 of us in swimmers.  I haven't been for a swim since god knows when. I used to throw myself in the river which meandered through our property after a hot day at work but apart from that - I cannot remember when I was last in a pool. |

Likewise as for swimmers I don't think they would make any to fit me
Tee shirt & shorts just wont do anymore ( well that's what I got told at De Bretts)

There's swimmers for everyone out there Nat. I just got the long top and little boxer type shorts for the bottom. My sister will be like the s.tick insect in hers and I'll look like a heffalump next to her!  |

We are just checking them both out today. They are the same prices at both but I think The Lido has a spa pool and the other doesn't. Also as a negative for the Lido, indoors absolutely reeks of Chlorine and it is way too hot. Icy cold water isn't for me either!  |

Oh ye of little faith Mr P. You could do with swimming a few laps of the pool yourself eh? I imagine you would need to clear the pool before you jumped in though cos any little kids would get washed straight out again from the wave you will create..  |

 Well that was fun. Didn't push myself too hard seeing as I haven't done much exercise for ages. Sister did bloody good for an old duck! lol Hopefully I won't be too stiff and sore tomorrow.

Round 2 done and dusted. I managed a bit of cramp in both legs today! It wasn't too bad though. The place was crawling with little tackers though. They have their own pool thankfully. They are so funny - trying to get themselves organised. |
